On October 19th, during the visit of Xi Jinping to the UK, the four Sino-British energy dialogue conference was held in London. As one of the Chinese new energy business representatives invited, Concord New Energy attended the event.
The conference was cosponsored by the National Energy Administration (the NEA) and British Department for Energy and Climate Change (BDECC) and co-hosted by Nur Bekri, the Director of the NEA and Amber Ruud, the Minister of BDECC. The conference was carried out under the topics of energy market reform, offshore wind power, new energy technologies, nuclear and others.
Executive Director and Executive Vice President of Concord New Energy Group Mr. Yu Weizhou led a delegation and attended the conference and participated in the discussion and communication activities of offshore wind power, new energy technology and other topics. During the conference, Director of the NEA Mr. Nur Bekri and other leaders met with Mr. Yu Aand his delegation.
Introduction of Sino-British Energy Dialogue Conference
China and Britain, as the world's major energy production and consumption countries, established Sino-British energy working-set mechanism in the energy sector in 2006, and renamed it as Sino-British Energy Dialogue mechanism in 2010. In 2011, during the fourth Sino- British economic and financial dialogue, he NEA and BDECC signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Cooperation in Energy Field". The two department held the second and third Sino-British Energy Dialogue in Beijing and London in 2013 and 2014. The fourth Sino-British energy dialogue was held in London in October 19, 2015, when President Xi Jinping visited Britain.
