On January 18, 2018, Concord New Energy was awarded "The Most Valuable Public Utility and Company with Environmental Protection Stocks of Golden Hong Kong Stocks in 2017" at the New Value of DongJian-Hong Kong Stocks Summit and the Listed Company Selection Awarding Ceremony of 2017 "Golden Hong Kong Stocks" held in Shenzhen.
The award is intended to honor public utility and environmental protection Hong Kong-listed companies with the fastest growth, high-profile capital markets, and great potential for development in 2017. Concord New Energy was awarded "The Most Valuable Public Utility and Company with Environmental Protection Stocks" this time, highlighting the high affirmation and recognition of industry and investors for Concord New Energy.
The award ceremony attracted 140 companies with high-quality Hong Kong stocks to attend, including the emerging industries which lead the transformation of Chinese economy such as new energy, chip, Internet and biological genes and others, and also including the traditional industries such as petrochemical industry, finance and automobile and so on, accounting for one fourth of the aggregate market value of current Hong Kong stocks. What's more, there were more than 150 financial institutions such as banks, securities, insurances, trusts and asset managements and so on, among which thousands of investors attended the event.
The New Value DongJian-Hong Kong Stocks Summit and selection of 2017 "Golden Hong Kong Stocks" were co-sponsored by Hong Kong stocks information platform Whiting finance and the service provider Tonghuashun of domestic leading internet financial data, taking the Snowball Association, Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Chinese Securities Association of Hong Kong as the supporting units. The selection committee was composed of 9 major Chinese securities brokers in Hong Kong, including ICBC International, BOCOM International, Huatai Financial Holdings, CMB International, Guotai Junan International, BOC International, GF Holdings, CCB International, and Haitong International. The expert committee scored the companies in line with the following factors such as the company's performance growth over the past year, industry rankings, corporate governance, business model, market influence, and capital market performance, together with the corresponding public voting weight, in order to select the final winner list.
